Stone care — tools to maintain its effectiveness 

Sharpening stone maintenance need to be cared for on a regular basis. This will prolong their life and keep them highly effective. What’s included in our stone care range:

• Glass levelling plate. In the course of work, the bars wear down and what is known as a ‘saddle’ – a work-out – is formed. Our plate is durable, precisely manufactured and is excellent for restoring the shape and surface of sharpening stones. 
• Silicon Carbide Powder – available in several grit options for different abrasives; effectively handles grinding and levelling. Silicon carbide crystals resemble diamonds in chemical and physical properties. The smaller the size of its grains, the greater their strength.
• Condition Stone is an abrasive enhancer that increases the cutting power of the stone. Depending on the stage of sharpening, it is available in Extra Coarse, Coarse, Medium.
