Blades are made of high-carbon cold-formed steel produced by Böhler-Uddeholm AG. Thanks to the electroslag remelting (ESR) process, Böhler K110 steel has a clean and homogeneous microstructure and contains fewer harmful impurities. It is used for the production of high-performance cutting and punching tools, shear blades, threading dies, extruders and measuring tools. Advantages of K110 steel: high wear, hardness (59-62 HRC), corrosion resistance, impact resistance.
Handle — made of G-10 glass-textolite
The handle is made of G-10 glass-textolite, the main components of which are glass fabric and epoxy resins. This material is very strong, impact-resistant, highly resistant to fire, and excellent resistance to moisture.
